Volleyball Recap: Kokomo Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kokomo can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Harrison Raiders on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildkats have suffered since September 30th.

Harrison had a senior duo take command as Jillian Deno had 30 assists and three digs and Kaylee Swihart had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Swihart. Grace Watts also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Kokomo's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Harrison, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Kokomo nor Harrison have any future games scheduled.
