Baseball Recap: Toombs County Takes a Loss

Toombs County was the 1-0 winner over Savannah Christian when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Thursday.

Toombs County's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Savannah Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Toombs County will square off against Swainsboro at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savannah Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Emanuel County Institute at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
