Softball Recap: Millard South Takes a Loss

Millard South's tournament run continued when they took on Legend on Saturday. The Patriots fell just short of the Titans by a score of 8-7.

Gianna Dannelly was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Sydney Witzke also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Millard South's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Legend, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Millard South didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 win against Marian on the 6th. As for Legend, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Gretna East on the 6th.
