Soccer Recap: Winder-Barrow Takes a Loss

Winder-Barrow was the 3-1 winner over Madison County when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Madison County Red Raiders who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. The Bulldoggs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Winder-Barrow's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Madison County, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winder-Barrow will face off against Seckinger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winder-Barrow is facing Seckinger at the right time seeing as Seckinger is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Madison County, they will take on Flowery Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Flowery Branch will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Madison County surely won't give up without a fight.
