Recap: Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls vs. Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles
The Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 50-41 to Conwell-Egan Catholic. Archbishop Ryan has not had much luck with Conwell-Egan Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
It was another big night for Lily Milewski, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and five steals for Conwell-Egan Catholic. Milewski continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Brooke Mcfadden was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Archbishop Ryan bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
Archbishop Ryan will head out on the road to face off against Neumann-Goretti at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neumann-Goretti will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Archbishop Carroll at 7:00 p.m. Archbishop Carroll presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Conwell-Egan Catholic in Pennsylvania (Archbishop Carroll is ranked 29th, while Conwell-Egan Catholic is ranked 216th).
