Football Recap: Cheyenne Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cheyenne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 34-18 fall against the Sunrise Mountain Miners. The Desert Shields were not able to make up for their defeat to the Miners from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

The critical scores for Sunrise Mountain came from Cam'Ron Ford, Jamal Thrower, and Kaylin Mills.

Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sunrise Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Cheyenne will face off against Rancho at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Desert Shields will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will take on Eldorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
