Soccer Recap: Arcata Comes Up Short

Arcata lost against Head-Royce back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Jayhawks. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Cruz Aguilar was handed one for Arcata, while Head-Royce got theirs courtesy of Nick Wong.

Arcata's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Arcata has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Sonoma Academy on the 23rd. As for Head-Royce, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against The Bay School on the 29th.
