Desert Christian waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Palo Verde Titans. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-18.

Desert Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aliah Sanchez out in front who had seven digs and six aces. Sanchez is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Farias, who had seven digs.

They weren't the only good server: Desert Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive contests.

Desert Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Palo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Coming up, Desert Christian will square off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Palo Verde and Douglas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
