Soccer Recap: Cherokee Bluff Takes a Loss

Cherokee Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Peachtree Ridge Lions. While losing is never fun, Cherokee Bluff can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 354th, while Peachtree Ridge are ranked 67th).

Cherokee Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Peachtree Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Cherokee Bluff will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Oconee County at 8:00 p.m. As for Peachtree Ridge, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Peachtree Ridge face off against Duluth at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Duluth will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Peachtree Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
