Laker came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Vassar Vulcans a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
