Terrell Academy had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Valwood on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Valiants 7-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Terrell Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Valwood, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.
