Basketball Recap: Bellefonte Comes Up Short

Bellefonte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Huntingdon Bearcats 63-22. The Raiders were probably out for revenge after losing 66-43 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bellefonte's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Huntingdon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellefonte will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Greater Johnstown at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Huntingdon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mount Union at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
