It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Valley had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Lynx as they made off with a 10-2 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 27 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 7-29.

Looking ahead, Valley will square off against Waukee on Tuesday. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
