Softball Recap: Elkhorn Takes a Loss

Elkhorn fell victim to Millard North and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 7-0. If the Antlers were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elkhorn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Wragge, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Elkhorn now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Millard North, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Elkhorn has already played their next match, a 10-6 loss against Lincoln East on the 23rd. As for Millard North, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Millard West on the 23rd.
