Roseland Collegiate Prep suffered their biggest defeat since November 27, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Victory Christian Academy, falling 48-20.
Meanwhile, Credo's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 42-26 fall against St. Vincent de Paul.
Despite the defeat, Credo had strong showings from Reilly Fay, who scored 12 points, and June Guthrie, who scored seven points. That was a full 46.2% of Credo's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Roseland Collegiate Prep's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.7 points per game. As for Credo, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
