Baseball Game Preview: WF West Bearcats vs. Sehome Mariners

The WF West Bearcats will challenge the Sehome Mariners at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (WF West 2.4, Sehome 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

WF West's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over R.A. Long. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Sehome hadn't done well against Lynden Christian recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mariners walked away with a 5-2 win over the Lyncs.

WF West's victory bumped their record up to 22-4-1. As for Sehome, their win bumped their record up to 20-7.
