Football Recap: Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

Boiling Springs had lost four straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-2 to make it five. They were dealt a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Susquehanna Township HANNA. The Bubblers were not able to make up for their defeat to the HANNA from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for Susquehanna Township, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Boiling Springs is ranked 366th).

Susquehanna Township had a senior duo take command as Torin Evans threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes and Rakhi Seville rushed for 80 yards and four scores on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Zikhere Leaks, who picked up 70 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boiling Springs is set to challenge their familiar foe Middletown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Susquehanna Township will square off against rival West Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
