Softball Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

Tattnall Square Academy was the 12-0 winner over Loganville Christian Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Trojans, who until this match were averaging 3.88 runs allowed.

Kiley Kate Hodgin made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tensley Cleghorn, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Tattnall Square Academy's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Tattnall Square Academy and Loganville Christian Academy will both be playing Calvary Christian the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
