Softball Recap: Colcord's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Colcord lost against Adair back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets fell 6-2 to the Warriors.

Colcord saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Evans, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Evans' first of the season.

Colcord's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Adair, they pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Colcord will head out to challenge Chelsea at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Adair, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-0 win against Quapaw on the 11th.
