Softball Game Preview: Mountain View Bears vs. South Forsyth War Eagles + How To Watch

The Mountain View Bears will venture away from home to challenge the South Forsyth War Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mountain View fell victim to Collins Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Eagles. The Bears have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Lambert hit South Forsyth with a seven-run second inning last Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The War Eagles came up short against the Longhorns, falling 9-1.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for South Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.

Mountain View skirted past South Forsyth 9-8 in their previous meeting back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
