There's no place like home for Douglas County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the South Cobb Eagles on Thursday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.

Elliot Agyekum and Ethan Agyekum scored both of Douglas County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win got Douglas County back to even at 1-1. As for South Cobb, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Douglas County face off against the Central at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th. South Cobb will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lithia Springs at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th.
