There's no place like home for Herscher, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Reed-Custer Comets on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Herscher, who have now won 12 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Reed-Custer with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luis Parra (5), Rowan Keigher (3), and Landon McMillin.

Herscher's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five matches. As for Reed-Custer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season.

Herscher will take on Coal City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coal City's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Reed-Custer, they will welcome Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
