Volleyball Recap: Cenzie Pyeatt Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Lakewood Presbyterian

Trinity Christian Academy won the last time they faced Lakewood Presbyterian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Trinity Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-6, 25-17.

Trinity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cenzie Pyeatt, who had seven aces and six kills. Pyeatt is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 22 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of MacKenna Wiltse, who had seven aces and one block.

They weren't the only good servers: Trinity Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. They are 12-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Trinity Christian Academy's record now sits at 18-8-1. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.
