Baseball Recap: Laney Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Laney's offense. They came up short against the Thomson Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 17-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Laney's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Thomson, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Laney is taking a road trip to square off against Josey at 5:00 p.m. on March 11th. The matchup will give Josey their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. Thomson has already played their next contest (against Glenn Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
