Mayfield has gone 8-2 against Las Cruces recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldawgs at 7:00 p.m. Las Cruces took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mayfield, who comes in off a win.

Mayfield is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Organ Mountain, who was ranked 14th at the time (Mayfield was ranked 18th). The Trojans blew past the Knights 4-1 on Tuesday. Considering Mayfield have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Organ Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ernesto Torres (2), Liam Estrada, and Reymundo Carranza.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Las Cruces' offense. They fell just short of Centennial by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Las Cruces have struggled against Centennial recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Mayfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for Las Cruces, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1.
