Marquette had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Menominee Maroons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-7 back in April.

Alex Brennan looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April.
