Passers beware: Symanni Strahan came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also rushed for nine yards, helping propel Abilene past Amarillo by a score of 24-21. We hope Strahan's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Strahan and Abilene are taking a road trip to take on Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Strahan will face off against Aiden Gutierrez, the Mustangs' star rusher.
