Football Game Preview: Cunningham Wildcats vs. Argonia/Attica Titans

Two dominant backs in Stephen Kerschen and Carson Vineyard are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Cunningham Wildcats will host the Argonia/Attica Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cunningham's defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so Argonia/Attica's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Cunningham played against Chase on Friday and won via forfeit.

Argonia/Attica's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Central Christian on Friday. They were dealt a 36-0 loss at the hands of the Cougars. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Titans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Even if they lost, Argonia/Attica's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Central Christian's QB won't forget Spencer Beck anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

The victory made it two in a row for Cunningham and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Argonia/Attica, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
