Football Recap: Rock Canyon's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Rock Canyon extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They put the hurt on the Douglas County Huskies with a sharp 42-21 win. Fans of the Jaguars have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Rock Canyon had a senior duo take command as Noah Jadd rushed for 201 yards and Evan Diebold threw for 124 yards and two TDs. Mason Mills was another key player, rushing for 23 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Rock Canyon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Rock Canyon's defense made their presence known, laying out Jaden Adragna. three times. Levi Schield was especially locked on to Douglas County's QB and sacked him twice. Schield is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Douglas County fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

When it comes to explaining why Douglas County lost, don't look at Nolan Case. Despite the final result, he rushed for 151 yards and two scores while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Rock Canyon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 37-0 defeat against Grandview on the 20th. As for Douglas County, they have also already played their next game, a 23-7 victory against Castle View on the 18th.
