Soccer Game Preview: Shafter vs. Chavez

Shafter is 9-1 against Chavez since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Generals will be playing at home against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Shafter has yet to allow a single goal through five contests this season, a streak Chavez will look to end.

Shafter's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Rosamond by a score of 2-0. While Shafter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Del Oro kept up with Chavez until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Suns.

The victory got Chavez back to even at 1-1. As for Shafter, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
