Softball Recap: Peach County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Peach County entered their tilt with Crawford County on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted against the Eagles since August 24, 2015.

Peach County got a massive performance out of Alyssa Crozier, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Dickerson, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Peach County's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Crawford County, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peach County will head out to square off against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawford County, they will challenge Spalding at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
