Flintridge Prep came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Valencia Vikings by a score of 53-46.

When it comes to explaining why Valencia lost, don't look at Cara McKell. Despite the final result, she went 8 of 11 en route to 22 points. McKell is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Keira McLaughlin, who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
