Basketball Recap: Indio Takes a Loss

Indio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Twentynine Palms Wildcats, falling 59-17. While losing is never fun, the Rajahs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1156th, while the Wildcats are ranked 337th).

Indio's record now sits at 1-10. As for Twentynine Palms, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indio will challenge Coachella Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coachella Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Indio surely won't give up without a fight. As for Twentynine Palms, they will welcome Silver Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
