Basketball Recap: San Clemente Comes Up Short

San Clemente was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Cedar Valley Aviators 47-19. The matchup marked the Tritons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

San Clemente's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Cedar Valley, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

San Clemente and Cedar Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Tritons see the court they'll take on Beckman at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Cedar Valley, their break will end when they face Herriman at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
