The Sequoyah Chiefs will head out to take on the Lassiter Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Sequoyah has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Lassiter will arrive with four straight victories.

Sequoyah fell victim to Lassiter and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Lassiter pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sequoyah, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
