Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Shoals vs. Franklin County

The Cedar Shoals Jaguars will square off against the Franklin County Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Cedar Shoals is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. Everything went their way against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy as Cedar Shoals made off with a 6-2 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-0.

Cedar Shoals' victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Franklin County, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (10-6), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Cedar Shoals was able to grind out a solid win over Franklin County when the teams last played back in February of 2022, winning 2-0. Will Cedar Shoals repeat their success, or does Franklin County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
