Baseball Game Preview: Victory Baptist Warrior vs. Trinity Prep Lions

Victory Baptist has gone a perfect 6-0 against Trinity Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warrior will be playing at home against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Victory Baptist is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Covenant Christian Academy on Friday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warrior in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won four in a row.

Eli Nash made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Justus Cramer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was EJ Daniels, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.

Victory Baptist kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Covenant Christian Academy only managed three.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Trinity Prep, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by a 38-5 margin over Monsignor Donovan Catholic on Monday.

Victory Baptist's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Trinity Prep, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Everything went Victory Baptist's way against Trinity Prep in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Victory Baptist made off with a 12-0 win. Will the Warrior repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
