Softball Recap: Mid-Prairie Comes Up Short

Mid-Prairie was the 10-9 winner over Durant when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Hawks took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Monday. The Golden Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mid-Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Durant, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Mid-Prairie has already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against Grinnell on the 24th. Durant has also already played their next game (against Muscatine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
