Softball Recap: Xavier Beats Webster City for Their Fifth Straight Win

While Xavier put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Webster City. The Saints were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Lynx. Considering the Saints have won 20 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Xavier, bringing their record up to 36-5. As for Webster City, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-18.

Coming up, Xavier will face off against Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday. The Bluejays' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Webster City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
