The Encinal Jets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Berkeley as Encinal made off with a 68-44 win. Winning may never get old, but Encinal sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Encinal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jazzy Alcantar, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. Alcantar is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lola Whalen, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 20 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Berkeley still got an impressive performance from Jamaia Harrison, who scored 35 points.

Encinal is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Berkeley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Encinal and Alameda will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Encinal is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Alameda is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Berkeley, they will head out on the road to take on Hayward at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hayward is coming into the match with four straight wins at home, so Berkeley is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
