Basketball Game Preview: Segerstrom Jaguars vs. Ayala Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Segerstrom Jaguars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Ayala Bulldogs at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Segerstrom knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Ayala likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Segerstrom was fully in charge, breezing past Norwalk 93-32. Fans of the Jaguars have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Segerstrom's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamila Floris, who posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Floris a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Quero, who scored 13 points and six steals.

While Ayala didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They managed a 38-32 win over San Bernardino on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Segerstrom's record is now 3-0. As for Ayala, their record now sits at 4-1.

Segerstrom couldn't quite get it done against Ayala in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 as they fell 55-46. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
