Baseball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss

Howard came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the West Laurens Raiders. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Huskies haven't been shut out since back in February.

Howard dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for West Laurens, their record now sits at 13-4.

Coming up, West Laurens will take on Bleckley County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Howard will be paying especially close attention to the Raiders' game: after the Raiders face off against the Royals, they'll take on Howard again at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
