Needles had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Lincoln County Lynx on Saturday as the Needles Mustangs made off with a 48-25 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Needles had a senior duo take command as Isabella Harvey dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards and Gisele Burns to rack up 16 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burns has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Collier, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Needles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in eight consecutive contests.

Needles' win bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Lincoln County, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.

As of now, neither Needles nor Lincoln County have any future games scheduled.
