Basketball Recap: Madera Takes a Loss

The Madera Coyotes lost 51-29 to the Sanger West Hornets on Tuesday. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sanger West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Soha Khan, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nobelle Khamvilaythong-Yang, who posted ten points and five steals.

Madera's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Sanger West, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Madera has already played their next game (against Justin Garza), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sanger West will head out to square off against McLane at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sanger West is facing McLane at the right time seeing as McLane is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
