Softball Recap: Brush Takes Down Delta in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brush walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Delta Panthers with a sharp 14-2 victory on Friday. The Beetdiggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.

Jolie Tuck was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kyleigh Greenwood, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Brush lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win was the fifth in a row for Brush, bringing their record up to 19-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Delta, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-10.

As of now, neither Brush nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
