Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Lincoln and Lewis Central had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lynx took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans on Thursday. Lincoln fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Lewis Central since on Thursday.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lewis Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will square off against Sioux City East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewis Central, they will welcome Ankeny Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
