After soaring to eight goals the game before, Bainbridge was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Peach County Trojans by a score of 2-1. The Bearcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Jose Bonilla-Ortiz, who's now up to five this season.

Bainbridge's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Peach County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Bainbridge will host Cairo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bainbridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season. As for Peach County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peach County is facing Monroe at the right time seeing as Monroe is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
