West Fork proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by eight) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Central Springs Panthers. The Warhawks haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

West Fork pushed their record up to 22-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Central Springs, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-15.

West Fork will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Riceville at 6:30 p.m. on the 31st. Central Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
