Soccer Recap: Macon County Takes a Loss

Macon County was the 4-1 winner over Dooly County when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Macon County Bulldogs lost 5-1 to the Dooly County Bobcats on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Ifechukwu Anagbogu, which was the first he's scored this season.

Macon County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dooly County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Macon County has already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Peach County on the 20th. As for Dooly County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Irwin County on the 20th.
