Soccer Recap: Downey Takes a Loss

Downey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Turlock Bulldogs. If Downey were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to Turlock when the teams met back in January of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Downey's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Turlock, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Downey is set to take on their familiar foe Pitman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Turlock will square off against rival Enochs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
